Scott Rench is an artist and designer based in Chicago, and currently works as an art director at a advertising agency there. As a ceramist for over 15 years, Scott developed a technique for creating images on a computer, then transferring them to clay. My work represents the next generation of ceramic artists, who fuse today's technology with one of the oldest traditions in art. To some the computer is completely foreign while others have grown up in front of one. This familiarity will lead to the creation of new modes of expression in the ceramic arts. Scotts work has been featured in numerous national and international publications and is a part of many permanent collections.
