A creamy, malt-driven palate with sweet winter spices, particularly cinnamon. Rhubarb crumble with hot custard and hints of black pepper. Good length with more vanilla and a suggestion of nutmeg on the tail.

The latest core expression from the Glenrothes catalogue, this 1998 vintage follows on from the previous 1994. The first bottling made with Gordon Motion as the Glenrothes Malt Master.
Appearance: Medium golden, clear and bright.
Bouquet: Rich, spicy vanilla, golden syrup and lemongrass.
Palate: Soft, mature, sweet vanilla with a hint of cinnamon.
Finish: Smooth, long, rich vanilla.
