Fuller's London Pride 500ml x 12

Fuller's London Pride, the company’s flagship beer, is a mahogany coloured bitter. The beer is best known in England in its 4.1% cask conditioned form, but is also sold in the UK and worldwide in 4.7% pasteurised bottles.

London Pride takes its name from the Saxifraga x urbium flower. The flower famously provided shoots of recovery on the bombed sites left by the London Blitz of the early 1940s, and as such holds great symbolism for Londoners. The flower was nicknamed London Pride, and the beer followed closely afterwards.

London Pride is a smooth and complex beer. It has a distinctive malty base, complemented by a rich balance of well-developed hop flavours from the Target, Challenger and Northdown Varieties in the brew. The perfectly balanced flavour makes an excellent accompaniment to traditional, hearty meals such as Steak & Kidney pie.
