Kyoto Whisky Kuro-Obi (700 ml)

Authentic bourbon-like whisky aged in virgin American oak barrels and carefully selected malt whisky are blended and finished in bourbon barrels. Enjoy the rich vanilla aroma and fruity flavor with the sweet lingering finish.

Interestingly, this whisky was bottled before the introduction of Japanese whisky labelling standards in February 2021. Going forward, all Japanese whiskies must must ensure their products meet strict requirements when it comes to raw materials, production location, water, distillation, ageing, packaging, colouring and strength if they want to label their product as a Japanese whisky.

A traditional craft known as Nishijin-ori was used to produce the fabric label. This craft originated in the city of Kyoto.
