La Chouffe 1.5L x 1

All our Chouffe fans know that we, the Chouffe gnomes, like to have our picture taken. Proud of the result, we even decides, 13 years ago now, to print our picture on the La Chouffe magnum bottles (1,5L), the Big Chouffe.

This year, we contacted our friend Francis Carin, a Belgian cartoonist with a clear, realistic style (perfect for us, the gnomes from the Valley of the Fairies!)

Francis Carin studied arts at the Institut Saint-Luc in Liège, Belgium. He dabbles in everything: first he worked on various advertising media, producing illustrations for a news weekly. He then went on to produce a number of short stories for Spirou and Tintin magazines.

His most popular project, however, is the creation of the Victor Sackville series, whose hero is a British secret service agent during the first world war. in the 2000s, he took over drawing for the Lefranc series. we mischievous gnomes love talent like this!
