Kurayoshi 8 Year Old Pure Malt Whisky (700 ml)

8 year old blended malt whisky from The Kurayoshi range, produced by Matsui Shuzou in the Tottori Prefecture. These whiskies are made with a blend of Scotch and Japanese malt whiskies, brought down to bottling strength with volcanic-stone-filtered water. Pink peppercorn, orange peel, lingering toasted oak warmth on the palate with a finish of macadamia nuts and strawberry jam. Very easy drinking expression of blended whisky.

Sweet toffee, floral scents of hay and heather, stewed red berries and some faint dry Sherry notes.

Taste

Orange citrus lollies, peppercorn spice with toasted nuts and berry sweetness.

Finish

Walnuts and berry jam.
