Chalawan, the King of Alligator, is a Thai folkloric tale where an alligator with the ability to shapeshift into a charming man lures young women to become his lovers.  He is strong and aggressive, due to his wild beast nature.  On the contrary, he is smooth and charming around women.

Just like Chalawan, this Pale Ale balances bitterness vs. sweetness.  Crafted from the blends of Pilsner malt, and roasted Munich malt, it has a medium body with moderate carbonation. It delivers a malty caramel note flanked by Lychee, citrus and floral aromas that glide into a long finish, thanks to the robust 'hoppiness' profile of the Cascade and Columbus hops.  In 2016, Chalawan Pale Ale won a Gold Medal from the prestige beer competition, World Beer Awards 2016, in London, England.   It is the first craft beer from Thailand winning the prestige award in the global stage.
