The character of the whisky is defined by intense, spicy, zingy, edgy flavours. RED LABEL bursts onto the palate with the freshness of spray from a crashing wave, followed by the zing of aromatic spices and finally a long, lingering, smoky finish. The sensation in the mouth is complex – ‘sweet chilli’ is a good description of this taste and the tingling sensation on the tongue.

The story of RED LABEL started with the pioneering vision of the Walker family. John Walker and his sons saw an opportunity to take their whisky far beyond the borders of Scotland. They strove to make RED LABEL the world’s favourite whisky and didn’t give up until they achieved that goal, becoming one of the world’s first truly global brands.

Alexander Walker created the distinctive square bottle in 1860, with a label angled at precisely 24°. In a world that predominately uses rounded bottles, it soon became the most recognised whisky globally – it’s an iconic design for an iconic whisky.

    I've drank a lot of scotches and I must say it has a kick, is that a smoky oaky flavor? For the price I would say the Red is a full bodied well rounded scotch blend. And despite people saying it's good as a mixture, Winston drank it with soda water I believe, but all scotch can be drank with a dollop of fresh water, it's a preference, but I, sure some people just like a straight forward Walkers Special Old Highland Red...!

    I just love smokey tasting whiskies and this one has it for me. I always drink scotch with tonic and Red Label is perfect with tonic in my opinion. Despite the mix the peaty smokiness dominates. My whisky of choice.

    Sampled it with “Bitter Lemon” at Cape Coral Arts Festival. It was delicious But I have been to a liquor store and a grocery store and cannot find that “bitter lemon” they never heard of it. Where can I find it?
